1. Free Plan
The free plan does not require payment and cannot be cancelled. You can use it indefinitely. If you no longer wish to use YourKeep, you can simply stop using the service or delete your account.
2. Cancelling a Paid Plan
You can cancel your paid subscription (Starter, Business, or Pro) at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:
- Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after cancellation.
- At the end of the billing period, your account will revert to the free plan.
3. What Happens to Your Data
When your account reverts to the free plan after cancellation:
- Storage — if your stored files exceed the free plan's 1 GB limit, you will need to delete files to stay within the limit. Existing files are not automatically deleted on downgrade.
- QR file retention — new files received via QR sharing will follow the free plan's 3-day auto-deletion period instead of your previous plan's retention window.
- Daily limits — file receiving limits will drop to the free plan's 30 files per day.
- AI queries — your monthly AI query limit will reset to 25 per month.
- Drive and Locker — your Drive files, folders, Locker passwords, and sharing settings remain intact. Nothing is deleted.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are generally not provided for partial billing periods or unused plan time. However, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for the following situations:
- Duplicate or accidental charges.
- Technical billing errors where you were charged incorrectly.
- Unauthorized transactions — charges made without your consent.
- Service issues — significant, prolonged outages that prevented you from using the paid features you were charged for.
Refund requests must be made within 15 days of the charge in question. Requests made after 15 days may not be eligible.
5. Refund Timeline
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account.
6. Account Deletion
If you delete your account entirely, all your data — files, folders, Locker entries, shares, and account information — will be permanently removed. This action is irreversible. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
7. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To cancel your plan, use the account settings in your dashboard. To request a refund, email support@yourkeep.in with:
- Your registered email address.
- Payment reference or transaction ID.
- Date of the charge.
- Reason for the refund request.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
